How to do it:
First, whisk together all the dry ingredients: flour, brown sugar, cinnamon , baking powder, baking soda and salt in one bowl and set aside.
In another bowl mix the egg, butter milk, oil, vanilla extract and apple sauce. When you obtain a creamy composition add it over the bowl with dry ingredients and mix them together.
At the end add the grated and chunked apples and mix gently from the bottom to the top.
Don’t forget to prepare your muffins tray with baking papers and if you wish to eat them warm, then spray the baking papers with some oil to avoid paper sticking to the muffins. Once they are cold, they will come down easier anyway. It’s your choice.
When you finished, you can fill the muffins liners leaving the ¼ top empty and add them to the oven (200 Celsius/400 Fahrenheit degrees) for 25-30 minutes or until you consider them ready (wooden baking test).
